Lee working at PMH Auto in Hillsborough
Lee discovered a talent for working on cars in the Applied Technology Center at ConVal during his junior year. Applying himself to all his subjects in order to finish strong, he was accepted to the Porter and Chester Institute in Chicopee, Massachusetts in the fall of 2007. Living with his father in Springfield while attending the school kept his expenses down, and he became our first graduate from a recognized program just fourteen months later.
CVCSF is especially interested in helping local students who are pursuing a career-related degree at a two-year institution and who intend to return to work in the Peterborough area upon graduation. Because Lee fit this bill so well, he was co-sponsored by the Peterborough Lions Club as their first scholar. He attended a club meeting with his mother and CVCSF monitor in which he was recognized for his outstanding performance in the program. On October 6, Lee began work at PMH auto in Hillsborough just two days after graduation!
