Instructions to Claim 2009 Scholarship Award
To: All $600 and $250 Recipients
June 26th , 2009
We wrote to you previously indicating that you had been selected for a $250 or $600 scholarship award. While we know that you regret not winning a higher level award, we congratulate you again on what you did achieve. This statement is to let you know what you need to do to claim your award.
What you need to do for your award to be paid to your tuition account:
First, call me at my office at ConVal High School at 371-0311 to make an appointment to have a photograph taken for our files. We also want to check to assure that the information we have about the school you plan to attend is correct and we will have an opportunity to answer any questions you may have about the instructions below:
Second, by August 1, 2009:
Send a copy of:
1. proof of enrollment from your school (a tuition bill, course registration form, etc.) Make and save a copy.
2. Financial Aid Award letter from your School.
Send both to Timothy Kolk, Treasurer, CVCSF, P.O. Box 372, Peterborough, NH 03458.
Include your mailing address, telephone number and e-mail address.
Your award payment will be sent to be credited to your tuition account as soon as these documents have been received and it is confirmed to us that you have attended the first day of class as a full time student in the fall 2009 semester.
Our relationship does not necessarily end with this award. We will be glad to hear from you at any time. We want you to let us to know how you are doing. Know that in extraordinary circumstances one of our one semester award winners in the ConVal classes of 2007 and 2008 won additional support on the basis of their achievement in their first semesters. If you have difficulty getting answers to questions, we will try to get you answers. You can address your emails to me at moneil [at] conval [dot] edu, or you can write to the CVCSF Awards Committee, P.O. Box 372, Peterborough, 03458. You have our wholehearted best wishes for success as you pursue your studies or job training program after graduation from ConVal.
